The East Angles Brass Band

To play throughout the village

The East Angles Brass Band

Thorney Live have teamed up with Thorney Club to bring music to the village on Sunday 30th August.

As we are unable to stage the 25th anniversary Thorney Live event, we have organised for The East Angles Brass Band to walk the pavements of Thorney playing their New Orleans style music for all to hear.

Leaving the Bedford Hall at 2pm they will take the route of Chestnut Drive, through Orchard Court and around Church Street, through the park to Tavistock Close. Right into Woburn Drive, through the new estate and back through St. Peters Way, followed by St Mary’s, Sandpit Road onto Wisbech Road and back to complete the walk at Thorney Club.

After an interval the band will perform for a while outside the club and finish at 4pm.

Feel free to follow the band and enjoy the music. We will be making a collection for our selected charity on our way round.

Let’s hope we can add to the charity fund and make the postponed 25th Thorney Live a bumper one in 2021.
